Essential Functions:

• Performs casualty control on all systems of Nevada Regional Medical Center complex, maintains logs and records on preventive maintenance repairs and cost effectiveness on job performed, evaluates work requisitions and assists in scheduling work flow and in training and development of departmental personnel and performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Director. May be required to work any shift and take call.
• Provides functional direction to assigned personnel.
• Performs preventive Maintenance on variety of equipment according to established procedures; inspects, calibrates, adjusts, lubricates and repairs/replaces components. Services or repairs the more complex equipment; schedules and maintains records of maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnoses system malfunctions of variety of mechanical and/or electrical equipment. Dismantles and repairs or replaces defective parts; reassembles, test and reinstalls, repaired equipment.
• Responds to calls for emergency repairs; completes repairs and documents services rendered.
• Performs and documents scheduled inspections and electrical safety test necessary to maintain conformance to code requirements.
• Performs and documents equipment repairs and tests new and repaired equipment before it is put into service.
• Under the direction of the Director of Integrated Services, is instrumental in proper training and directing of maintenance personnel in the performance of duties and responsibilities.
• Maintains records in compliance with requirements.
• May assist Purchasing in evaluating new equipment.
• Establishes and maintains courteous, cooperative relations when interacting with others.
• Performs other related duties as required.
• Maintain proper logs and records of preventative maintenance and repair of equipment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid Missouri Driver’s License, HVAC certified required
