Job Requisition: R-4188 Software Developer Intern (Open) Primary Location: SAN DIEGO Job Description: Our Summer Internship Program will allow you to use & develop the skills you've learned in school while participating in engaging events such as: career development workshops, networking events, and guest speakers throughout this paid 12-week internship beginning in May 2022. What you’ll bring: Pursuing a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Networking, Computer Engineering, Data Science or other related field Programming skills in .NET, Java, Python, SQL, TCP/IP, Distributed computing and Data Structures Solid technical competency in coding and testing; good object-oriented programming language skills Experience with Write utilities / automation tools using Java, REST, JSON, Python, Groovy and more familiarity with software testing principles The ability to be a self-starter and the willingness to be challenged Ability to work independently, and collaborate within a team and in a matrix environment What we’d love to see: Solid understanding of software engineering concepts and methodologies Experience with real time systems software development on Linux across AWS, GCP and certifications Ability to create low latency algorithms and toolsets to uncover transaction errors across distributed systems Impact you’ll make: Work on a team of engineers that plans, designs, hosts, develops, and tests customer software in an Agile environment Translate complex technical concepts into high-level designs for development teams Experience DevOps by enhancing software delivery pipelines and scripted infrastructure Receive close, one-on-one mentorship from an experienced software engineer Work with new technologies across a wide spectrum of computer science, including distributed systems, petabyte-scale data processing, ML across cloud providers.
