Job Description

We have an immediate need for a Senior .NET Developer and Technical SME to join our talented team in support of a federal client in Falls Church, VA. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading application development and other technical efforts across a large multi-disciplined team, driving IT modernization efforts.

*100% remote is an option 

Typical responsibilities include: 

• Design, write, test, and integrate system code for a brand new application
• Lead and participate in design reviews to contribute to design and architecture decisions
• Lead and participate in code reviews with other developers to ensure industry best practices are implemented
• Author new documentation and contribute to existing system documentation
• Troubleshoot system issues, debug, and track/resolve issues through an agile sprint cycle
• Work with Solution Architect and Cybersecurity SMEs to develop a secure, functional system

Qualifications

Required Skills: 

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years combined experience in technology systems management, development and/or training OR Bachelor’s degree in related field and 6 years of combined experience in systems design, development, engineering, operations & maintenance and/or cybersecurity.
• Secret eligible (preference over resources who already possesses a Secret and/or a DoD CAC)
• Experience designing, modifying, and implementing complex software programming components and applications for enhancements/upgrades that requires:
  • Development using .NET
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience with DevSecOps/DevOps deployment
• Technology Stack:
  • Full stack web developer, .NET Core, Microsoft SQL Server (or another relational database management system), REST APIs, Angular, Microservices, Docker, AWS
• Developer experienced in Cloud Native Microservices Development with .Net Core, AWS Database Services, and Containerization
• Strong verbal and written communications skills, particularly in translating technical concepts into understandable format
• Self-starting and self-managing – ability to work independently to complete tasks and proactive reach out to resolve challenges in a timely manner
• Strong customer-service attitude

Desired Skills: 

• Experience with PostgreSQLExperience with DoD PKI and federal cybersecurity requirements
