Nesco Resource is seeking an Electrical Engineer to work for one of our clients in Morris, CT.
 
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our New Product Development team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the design and validation of power electronics converters and digital controls for our next generation lighting systems.
 
Responsibilities:

• Perform basic electrical engineering tasks, applying engineering theories and principles
• Validate electrical and thermal performance of PCBA's
• Design digital and analog electronics for power electronics converters and digital controls
• Support all stages of development, from specification to design, prototype, and manufacturing
• Create and organize documentation related to electrical hardware designs
• Collaborate with other teams within the organization including Production Engineering, Manufacturing, and Procurement

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Schematic capture for electronic circuits
• Experience testing and validating PCBA's
• Basic knowledge of power electronics
• Proficiency with EE tools such as oscilloscopes and power supplies
• Embedded programming of microcontrollers is a plus
• Experience and knowledge in PCB layout (Altium) a plus
• Experience with software/firmware development and electronics design (Visual Basic, Visual Studio, C , etc.)

• Direct hire with full benefits
• 1^st shift, Monday - Friday
• Salary range: $75 - $110K depending on education and experience
