NESCO Resource is Hiring a CNC Programmer- 1st & 2nd Shift Near Bethel, CT

Nesco Resource is looking for CNC Programmers on 1st & 2nd Shift in Bethel, CT. This position will involve programming, grinding & milling operations, machine set up and operating a minimum of one production process, which may include CNC or manually controlled equipment. Hourly Salary Range $25.00- $35.00/hour, depending on experience.
1st Shift: Monday- Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
2nd Shift: Monday- Friday from 4:30 PM to 1:00 AM
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced by machine. Types of products being produced include: gun parts, warheads, tank parts, aerospace parts and computer boxes.
  • Programming, milling/grinding operations
  • Analyze machine problems and take corrective action
  • Use precision measuring equipment to judge quality of work such as microscopes, micrometers, air gages, electronic gages, and dial indicators
  • Follow ISPI's and PSPI's and accurately record data as directed
  • Required to perform inspection of own work and maintain certification through company Certified Operator Program
  • Required to train other operators as needed
  • May be required to work in other departments or, occasionally, to set up a machine for others to operate
  • Responsible for excellent housekeeping and maintaining 6S in all areas
  • Complete all other duties as assigned
  • Must be punctual, reliable and responsible
  • Must have steel toed boots
  • 10 years of CNC experience
