Summary
Provide administrative support and customer service for designated department management and/or program(s). Support program activities and serve as liaison between program(s) and constituents as directed.

Starting Hourly Pay Rate Range: $15.95 – $17.04

Principal Functional Responsibilities
1) Provide administrative support to designated department management and/or program(s). Duties may include serving as receptionist to greet visitors and answer phone and general office inquires. Prepare documents and maintain information as requested (i.e., student lists / database, examinations, correspondence, manuscripts, class lists, and reports).
2) Support program activities as requested (i.e., proctoring exams, lectures, departmental events)
3) Serve as liaison between program staff, faculty, students and other applicable constituents. .
4) Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education/Degrees: High school diploma or equivalent. Some coursework in secretarial / administrative support.
Experience: 2 – 3 years related work experience in an administrative support / secretarial role. Proficient computer skills – Microsoft Office Suite and database experience. Higher education experience preferred.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to utilize a phone, computer and screen and other office equipment. While performing the duties of the job, the employee is frequently required to sit; talk; or hear and occasionally stand, walk, reach, stoop, or kneel. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
