Neighborhood Outreach Access to Health (NOAH) is looking for talented healthcare team members to step into our culturally diverse health centers! From Scottsdale to Glendale, NOAH provides affordable, high-quality healthcare services. Serving over 40,000 neighbors, our model of care places patients' needs at the center of attention as we deliver comprehensive health services including medical, dental, behavioral health, nutrition, prenatal care, preventive health, eligibility assistance and health education programs.

NOAH requires all new hires to have received the first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine before their start date and be scheduled for their second dose. New hires who choose to receive the Johnson & Johnson vaccine only need one dose to fulfill this requirement. Reasonable accommodations will be considered

JOB SUMMARY

The Chief Medical Officer (CMO) is a member of the leadership team and will oversee the overall clinical leadership and performance of clinical programs and services of the health center. Responsibilities include fostering superior quality patient care, developing new care models, standardizing clinical protocols, developing new strategic goals and program expansion. The CMO will provide direct patient care, maintain, and improve provider productivity, provider recruitment, organizational strategic planning, ensuring clinical compliance with health center requirements and leading quality improvement initiatives. Provides an environment of quality and sustainability throughout the organization that is patient-focused, data driven and results oriented; develops and monitors systems to review utilization of resources and objectively measures outcomes of patient care. Additionally, the Chief Medical Officer provides recommendations and clinical objectives with reference to implementation of health plans, represent clinical management in administrative matters, as well as advocates for the organization and serves as a liaison to local and state professionals, as appropriate.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
These are essential job responsibilities and should be listed in descending order of importance i.e. most important is first.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ensures quality of care by leading the development of clinical protocols which are consistent with the characteristics and needs of patients, the community at large, and the goals and objectives of the organization. Develops productivity and quality of care goals related to clinical practice, oversight of all clinical peer reviews, and development of clinical policies and protocols.
  • Lead the organizations development, integration, and optimization of multi-specialty teams (medical, behavioral health, dental, etc).
  • Provide direct patient care.
  • Work with the CEO and leadership team to implement the strategic direction of the organization related to medical and health service programs.
  • Lead and direct the development and implementation of high-quality patient care services, programs, and initiatives across the care continuum as well as in specialty care areas as appropriate (care coordination).
  • Other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
Required

  • M.D. or D.O

EXPERIENCE
Required

  • 5 years supervisory/management experience and EHR systems
  • 2 years in medical staff leadership positions
  • 5 years of clinical practice

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE/ETC.
Licenses/Certification
Required

  • Licensed to practice medicine in Arizona
  • Must be able to meet and maintain NOAH credentialing and privileging requirements.
  • Board certified in Family Medicine
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Licensure Current DEA Required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Current CPR Certification required (ACLS preferred)
  • Fingerprint Clearance Card - State have a current Fingerprint Clearance card or within seven working days after employment shall apply and be eligible for a Fingerprint Clearance Card.

* It is expected that all certifications, licenses, etc. are renewed by the expiration date to remain compliant.
