If you have a knack for complex problem solving and can enforce and follow processes and procedures, this is the job for you. As our Specialist you will have the flexibility to work in the Omaha office or a combination of in the office and at home. Job Duties: A Day in the Life Process: Administer workers’ compensation program for Omaha and Des Moines staff Analyze: Complete ergonomic workstation evaluations Propose: Administer the 40,000 Recognition Program: Track hours. Plan celebrations when people meet the goal Develop: Complete various departmental reports and projects as assigned, ensuring projects are tracked and completed in a timely manner Provide: General Liability for all regions: Receive SIRs and calls and correspondence concerning claims against NFM. Contact claimants to further document the claim against NFM. Enter all data necessary to track claims. As necessary, investigate claims to determine extent of NFM’s liability. Work with manager to settle claims or forward claims to the appropriate insurance carrier Collaborate: Administer e-learning program for safety committees in all regions: maintain committee roster, email distribution list and learning group in SABA Teamwork: Responsible for Front Desk coverage for 6-10 hours per week Qualifications: Can You Check These Boxes? College degree or previous safety experience preferred 2 years office/clerical experience 1 year customer service experience preferred Data entry skills per established department requirements POPS experience and knowledge preferred – ability to look up customer orders and product information Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check
