Nebraska Behavior Supports, our rapidly growing company which provides ABA therapy services for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders and Developmental Disabilities, currently seeks a qualified Case Manager. The ideal candidate will take initiative in instituting case management policies, and communicating with client families and other involved parties in an effective manner. We are looking for a compassionate, attention driven professional, who believes in advocating wellness for our clients and their families.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain frequent communication with client families who are receiving services
• Create and maintain schedules that align with both providers and families
• Troubleshoot any problems that arise with services, and work closely with the team to ensure appropriate case staffing and scheduling
• Address communication barriers for non-English speaking clients and their families
• Assist in problem solving interpersonal encounters between staff and families, as needed
• Receive patient progress reports in a timely fashion and assist in the process of securing and maintaining insurance authorization
• Maintain confidential client records
• This position does not include direct supervision of staff, but requires collaboration with the team under the supervision of the Regional Director

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Social Sciences field highly preferred
• General case management skills, such as the ability to answer families’ questions about their child’s care, treatment plans, progression and address any related concerns
• Great documentation, organization and tracking skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to take directives and work collaboratively with a team
• Computer proficiency
