Primary Role in the Organization:
Quality Assurance is a part of NRI’s quality management system, focused on providing confidence that NRI’s QMS meets or exceeds IATF 16949 quality requirements. Quality Assurance assures that the standards, processes, and procedures are implemented to ensure the quality level required by the customer (customer satisfaction).

Sr. Management
Supervises:
Assistant QA Manager, Department Supervisor and Associates
Responsibilities:
10. The QMS system is focused on planning, documenting and agreeing on a set of guidelines that are necessary to ensure quality.
a. Specifically Customer specific requirements and ensured integration into QMS SOPs.
12.QA develops the quality plans, test plans, inspection plans, defect tracking tools, and process controls required in the manufacturing of the product.
13. QA is responsible for the training of NRI’s QMS procedures & documents for all associates.
a. Includes New Model Quality, Associate Training (Compliance) and Calibration (Gages and Master Samples).
Qualifications:
A. Experience
1.) Previous quality system experience a must.
2.) Minimum 5 years quality experience preferred.
B. Education
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Bachelor’s Degree from accredited school or equivalent experience in related field.
Requirements:
A. Physical Demands
Must be able to work long hours and be available to work all shifts.
Environment: Plant associates are exposed to noise, dust, grease, smoke, fumes, gases, solvents, electrical energy, toxic materials, hazardous chemicals and all types of weather and temperature conditions; work in confined spaces; work and/or walk on various types of surfaces including slippery or uneven surfaces.
Physical: Sufficient physical ability to perform moderate to lifting; standing and walking for prolonged periods of time; climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and operating motorized equipment.
Vision: See in the normal visual range with or without correction; vision sufficient to read computer screens and printed documents and to operate equipment.
Hearing: Hear in the normal audio range with or without correction.
B. Equipment Usage
Proficiency of computer software, various databases, portals, printers, phones, etc.
C. Mental/Cognitive Demands
Able to work unsupervised.
