Neaton Rome is Hiring an Automation Engineer Near Rome, GA
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist production and maintenance with troubleshooting machine problems
Create and modify programs for various control systems (CNC, MMI, PLC, etc.)
Provide training for associates on new equipment operations.
Modify current equipment / fixtures to update process requirements
Assist with Kaizen activities
Install / set up new equipment
REQUIREMENTSKnowledge of NFPA machine control wiring standards
Experience with complex mechanical designs and various controls for automated machine operations
High School diploma with a minimum of five years experience
Must have good communication skills
Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, PLC / MMI, AutoCad, and basic communication programs)
Must be able to work overtime and travel on short notice
Must be well organized and detail oriented
Familiar with QMS practices and procedures
Able to handle multiple tasks efficiently
