ND Landscape Services has been providing Full-ServiceLandscaping for clients in the North Shore and Metro North area since 1980. Wecurrently have a full-time position available for a Fleet Manager who isresponsible for fleet and facility operations including but not limited tocreating and overseeing fleet processes, budgeting, inventory, and repairs, aswell as managing our facility and outside work area.  ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Efficiently manage and execute the repairs of our fleet of trucks and equipment to maximize field production, maintain our image, raise proper use awareness, and manage equipment expense lines.
• Manage vendors and/or any outside subcontractor related to fleet and facilities.
• Manage the facility and outside work area to maintain an organized, efficient work environment that promotes our professionalism and maximizes overall productivity and safety.
• Coach, develop and hold accountable future direct reports so they achieve their performance deliverables.
• Develop, organize, manage, and execute the preventative maintenance schedule for all vehicles, trailers, and equipment to effectively measure service intervals and ensure routine maintenance is performed to prolong equipment life and reduce repair costs.
• Manage company inventory of vehicles, trailers, all equipment, and specialty tools ensuring processes are followed, and accountability is maintained.
• Responsible for the acquisition of new vehicles, trailers, equipment, and specialty tools.
• Prepare and execute the company winter work ticket processes and procedures.
• Manage fleet, shop, and facilities budgets.
• Administrative duties such as but not limited to IFTA, MCS-150, UCR, and IRS 2290 filings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 years of prior experience with fleet management
• Experience with facilities management is a plus
• Excellent leadership skills, including delegating, goal setting, motivation, and training
• Ability to set and monitor a budget and coordinate company resources
• Self-starter and demonstrates initiative
• Excellent organizational skills and time management skills
• Detail oriented and ability to multitask
• Proficient in MS Office 365 or a willingness to develop these skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
