Customer Support Coordinator

Position Overview:

The full-time Customer Support Coordinator demonstrates high levels of customer service, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills for our premium members. This position manages all forms of day-to-day inquiries from our premium members, including financial & account cancellation requests. The Customer Support Coordinator uses his/her excellent communication & problem-solving skills to resolve common problems that our clients may encounter, to help steer them towards success with their memberships, while remaining committed to helping to meet company revenue goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Manages all forms of inbound contact (phone calls, emails, texts) from premium members of the CollegeAdvisor.com network.
  • Provides world-class customer service in all external and internal communication.
  • Manages all forms of financial inquiries from current clients, including cancellation requests.
  • Manages all forms of escalations, with primary goal of de-escalating through excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Proactively reach out to at-risk and former members, to help re-engage and retain them.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends, news and changes in the world of Admissions.
  • Accountable to CollegeAdviso’s client experience, as well as company revenue goals.
  • Other projects as assigned by CollegeAdvisor’s Customer Support Manager.

  • Excellent customer service & de-escalation skills.
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Goal-oriented with a desire to succeed.
  • An understanding of how to use technology effectively to support students and advisors in the college counseling process.
