Training Specialist

The Training Specialist manages, executes, and implements training plans for increased operational performance at the site level. This position protects the integrity of the NationsBenefits brand through precise knowledge and training of the supplemental benefits industry. The position will manage the design and development of new hire training materials and content to support new initiatives impacting the Member Experience organization. In addition, this position has responsibility for managing content updates and the maintenance of NationsBenefits internal knowledge base, Learning Management System, and new hire training materials. Frequent independent judgments are essential.

Essential duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Communicate, execute and implement new store opening training for store level employees
• Manage training schedule and activities
• Train in settings such as classroom, hands-on practice and on-the-job
• Communicate and set training and operational goals with licensee, management team and team members to achieve a high level of staff performance
• Create and update training material to meet the organization’s goals and initiatives
• Create detailed and comprehensive reports, analysis, and evaluations of training
• Facilitate regular meetings with licensee and management teams to strategize and problem solve
• Coach management and employees to improve knowledge and performance while on the job
• Consult with licensees and management team on operational systems and tools
• Adhere to urgent schedules and timelines
• Implementation of company standards, procedures, and operation of new and existing restaurants
• Conform with and abide by all company regulations, policies, and work procedures
• Evaluate, develop and improve on departmental standards

Qualifications

• Training and facilitation skills required; 1 year training experience preferred
• Self-motivated and driven
• Must possess strong negotiation and persuasion skills
• Must have strong time-management skills
• Deal with multiple priorities Communicate in writing and verbally with tact, patience and courtesy
• Basic knowledge of MS office suite
• Must have the ability to train and execute the system standards and procedures
