About the job

Our HRIS Administrator opening is a junior level position within the HRIS sub department of Human Resources. Your primary focus in this position is the support and maintenance of the Human Resource Information System (HRIS). You will serve as a first point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assist subject matter experts with handling email requests and other duties as assigned. We’re hiring for this position to work remotely in the United States or in our headquarters office in Plantation, Florida. The role is a non-exempt, hourly paid position and the pay range is $15.00-$22.00 per hour.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support for the HRIS including, but not limited to, the day-to-day and ongoing operation, maintenance usage, password reset requests, assigning appropriate access, etc.
  • Handle all data entry into HRIS, including but not limited to processing new hires, job changes, and terminations.
  • Process all Manager Self-Service and Employee Self-Service changes into HRIS.
  • Create and run scheduled and ad-hoc reports for both systems, such as monthly course completion, training evaluation metrics, mandatory training compliance, and training surveys, other HR audit reports. Ensure that all appropriate reports are processed and distributed/shared to applicable recipients.
  • Troubleshoots issues that are reported either through Associates or internal department members, or other sources.
  • Responds to email inquiries and telephone calls regarding the HRIS and responds to questions appropriately.
  • Resolves associate issues related to HRIS and refer difficult or very complex issues to manager as needed. May need to refer to HRIS vendor to open ticket when necessary.
  • Performs quality checks on all administrative work ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Assists Human Resources/Benefits with special projects and HR initiatives.
  • Providing back up for other team members when out of office.
  • Other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Must have computer skills and the ability to learn HRIS system (ADP and/or UltiPro).
  • Prior experience with HRIS system, a plus.
  • Must be proficient in Excel.
  • Attention to detail a must.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Self-starter and can work with minimum supervision, as well as a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Superior verbal/written skills and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential.

Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent, required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field a plus
  • PHR, SPHR, CPP certification is a plus.
