Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Pay Rate: $23.00-25.00

The nursing staff with National Youth Advocate Program work as part of an integral service team. Licensed Practical Nurses provide medical assistance to the clients served. The Cincinnati team is growing and seeking a part-time LPN with opportunities to grow!

Under the general supervision of the Regional Manager or designee, you will work closely with youth, family, foster parents, and community partners, providing health care, advocacy and support toward the ultimate goal of living safely and successfully in the community.

The nursing staff with National Youth Advocate Program work as part of an integral service team. Our Registered Nurses provide medical assistance to the clients served. The Cincinnati team is growing and seeking a part-time RN with opportunities to grow!

Under the general supervision of the Regional Manager or designee, you will work closely with youth, family, foster parents, and community partners, providing health care, advocacy and support toward the ultimate goal of living safely and successfully in the community. 

Responsibilities  

• Oversees Medsom Department (Schedule Appointments, provides psychoeducation, assist with refill lists, prior authorization, facilitate telehealth sessions w with CNPs)
• Collaborates with the CNPs Carries caseload of Medsom only clients (Community and office based)
• Consults with pharmacies
• Provides psychoeducation to all youth and families served
• Coordinates medication approvals through youth guardians
• Provides updates to Clinical Team after Medsom appointments 
• Vitals clinics
• Facilitates and monitors completion of Lab orders

Minimum Qualifications  

• Must be a licensed LPN.
•  Must be available for on-call phone consultations as needed.
•  Must be able to maintain compliance with attending agency required training programs. 
• Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs. 

Driving and Vehicle Requirements 

• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable personal transportation
• Good driving record
• Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/$300,000 bodily injury liability
