Purpose: Lead and manage timely and accurate shipping of customer orders.

Essential Duties:

• Maintain accurate inventory on-hand quantities through documenting all movement of inventory through warehouse and cycle counting
• Participate in weekly team meeting to review order accuracy and timeliness and progress on key initiatives
• Ensure the work environment and processes are safe
• Work with multiple freight providers and accounts to provide best service and pricing
• Hire, train, recognize and discipline warehouse team as needed
• Communicate with Purchasing and Customer Service to provide daily updates on orders shipped
• Manage daily and weekly workflow to maintain accuracy and efficiency standards
• Order store and warehouse supplies
• Key Measurements: 
  • Ship customer orders at least 99% accurate
  • Ship customer orders 100% on-time

Minimum Requirements:

• • 3-5 years of demonstrated leadership in warehouse/distribution center operations
  • Working with an ERP system
  • Using handheld scanners to receive and pick orders
  • Experience in analyzing processes to make them more accurate and efficient

Working Conditions:

• • Walking for up to 7 hours per day including bending and lifting
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
