NRE Performance Solutions is searching for Quality Specialist!

We are looking for someone who has great attendance and punctuality, as well as a positive attitude and problem-solving skills. 

Job Responsibilities/Tasks:

• Keep Quality Manual up to date with the requirements of AAR-M1003.
• Assure that process activities agree with process control documents.
• Examine company records to confirm information as size and weight of product and results of quality tests.
• Inspect product using mainstream and specialized measuring tools in a manufacturing atmosphere to determine conformance with engineering drawing specifications, company’s quality control system, for compliance with legal requirements, and for conformity to specified standards.
• Inspect first run parts and in-process parts as necessary.
• Set up and operate inspection equipment.
• Create and submit reports using Microsoft Office software to document quality findings on products as indicated by procedures
• Read and interpret engineering drawings or specifications to obtain product information such as specified material, surface finish and dimensions. Ability to substitute known values such as dimensions from drawings into standard formulas and solve for unknown quantities to determine dimensions not specified
• Approve or reject product or documentation and write reports of evaluations
• Know, observe and enforce Safety rules and policies
• Know, observe and enforce Company Workplace Etiquette and Work Rules
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED – Associates Degree and/or experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed instruction as well as the ability to follow specifications, blueprints and industry standards preferred.
• Has strong background in Math.
• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Possess strong time management skills.
• Have computer skills with the ability to use Word, Excel, Access, and create reports, spreadsheets.
