NPW is seeking a highly organized, metrics driven and experienced Accounts Payable Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will be a skilled finance professional responsible for processing all routine and non-routine payments, reconciling vendor accounts, supervise Accounts Payable personnel, and assisting with other related duties.

Responsibilities:

The AP Manager will be responsible for monitoring related internal control standards, developing analytical reports to support daily operations, and ensuring the integrity of all departmental work. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of 10 A/P professional in the headquarters and other US domestic locations. Coordinate the daily activities of A/P personnel to ensure that transactions are processed timely and accurately. Payments are made in accordance with company policies.
• Monitor A/P internal controls, develop analytical reports to support daily operations, and ensuring the integrity of all A/P department work.
• Liaison between A/P team, operations, procurement, and accounting to coordinate and resolve issues/inefficiencies.
• Provide customer service and problem resolution to internal and external customers; research issues and drive timely resolution; coordinate with other departments and personnel integral to the payables process.
• Implement projects to migrate processes to more efficient and automated methods and continue to evaluate existing procedures to discover opportunities for process improvement.
• Assist in developing, documenting, and enforcing A/P policies and procedures.
• Verify vendor and invoice documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls, including proper authorization and approval, general ledger coding, amounts and currencies, purchase order and receipt matching, and payment instructions.
• Monitor vendor statements and accounts payable reports to ensure that invoices are recorded and paid on a timely basis.
• Manage and drive ad-hoc projects as needed or assigned.

Educational & Skills Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Minimum of 4 years of accounts payable management experience in a large organization, managing a team of 5 to 10 professionals and high volumes of A/P invoices (40,000 to 50,000 invoices per month) in multiple domestic US locations.
• Knowledge of accounts payable processes and related accounting principles; general ledger reconciliations; accruals; payment processing (check/ACH/wire); positive pay; 1099 reporting; escheatment processing, etc. is required.
• Multi-year experience working with integrated ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coordinate with and aggregate value to a larger finance organization
• Strong time management skills and ability to be both effective and efficient.
• Desire to take leadership of and build up a strong A/P department and dedicate the timed required.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP and high-level functions.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
