National Merchants Association is Hiring a Sales Operations Manager Near Las Vegas, NV

Summary/Objective

The Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for establishing a sales strategy and plans to meet the organization's revenue goals and objectives promoting growth and customer satisfaction. This position will be directly responsible for building, developing and managing the sales and business development team.

Essential Functions

  • Oversee the implementation and execution of sales policies and practices
  • Ensure communications are coordinated and supports sales plan objectives 
  • Create sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysis
  • Develop annual sales plan in support of overall organizational strategy and objectives
  • Build, develop and manage the business development team to ensure they reach goals
  • Oversee multiple channels selling strategies
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Enforce standard operating procedures, company policies, and best practices
  • Monitor department use of company CRM
  • Run reports to track trends and productivity to meet objectives and organizational transaction volume goals
  • Prepare reports to forecast and present to the sales team as well as fellow leaders
  • Assist in the development of training programs for sales team and outside stakeholders

  • Customer-centric focus to shape the customer value proposition
  • Must be self motivated and able to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to work well across functions and business units as well as various leadership positions
  • Ability to travel frequently, more than 50% of the time

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor degree in business administration with an emphasis in sales, marketing, or related field
  • 3-5 years of financial industry experience, merchant services or banking preferred with business development, client relations, and outside sales
  • Proven experience leading high-performance teams
  • Excellent negotiation and financial analysis skills
  • Proficient with MacOS, G Suite, and Microsoft products
  • Comfortable working with and learning new technologies

Office Environment and Physical Demands 

This job operates in a professional office environment and/or at professional trade shows. This role can expect to regularly transition from being mostly stationary to being frequently and consistently required to stand. The ideal candidate should be able to perform all necessary requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
