Job Summary

The Marketing Coordinator is a key member of the Marketing & Communications (MarComms) team, supporting a number of departmental initiatives and projects, including but not limited to Eczema Expo (annual patient conference), photo asset management, Shopify shop management, handling invoices and website updates. A critical part of the Marketing Coordinator’s responsibilities will be to manage MarComms project timelines, adjustments and additions using Atlassian (Confluence and Jira) and to work closely with MarComms and other NEA teams to keep projects moving.

The Marketing Coordinator is a full time (40 hours per week) position reporting to the Director of Marketing. The NEA offices are based in Novato, CA; however remote work may be considered for exceptional candidates.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage MarComms project timelines, adjustments and additions (Confluence and Jira)
• Facilitate MarComms tickets/requests (e.g. website updates, design requests, versioning, proofing)
• Work collaboratively with Director of Marketing to produce Eczema Expo, NEA’s annual patient conference
• Manage Expo logistics and tactical details
• Manage Expo website production
• Field scholarships
• Travel to Eczema Expo (Orlando, FL in 2023) to support event execution
• Manage organizational and departmental print projects and oversee Shopify shop and swag production
• Manage small website updates in WordPress
• Support implementation and ongoing management of photo asset library

Professional Experience and Qualifications

• Three to five years of strong, substantive work experience
• Strong organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work independently without close oversight, take initiative and manage multiple tasks and projects with differing, and at times changing, priorities and timelines
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• Effective verbal, non-verbal and written communication methods as well as reflective listening skills
• Flexibility and sense of humor
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
• Familiarity with Salesforce (or other CRM), WordPress and Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus, but not required
• Knowledge of eczema and a passion for empowering patient and caregiver audience
