National Comprehensive Cancer Network is Hiring a Marketing Specialist Near Plymouth Meeting, PA

Description

This position is responsible for NCCN’s promotional efforts, including external communications, reports, ad placements, marketing campaigns, and exhibits. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing and enhancing NCCN’s brand among physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other health professionals. This position requires occasional overnight travel.

Requirements

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, monitor, and reconcile marketing plans and budgets for NCCN continuing educational programs, live events, webinars, and resources.

• Manage marketing job database and weekly traffic report

• Manage production of yearly Member Institution metric reports, including data collection, report creation, proofing, and project optimization

• Work with Vice President of Marketing & Communications to secure exhibitors and coordinate all logistics related to live and virtual exhibits at NCCN programs as well as when NCCN is exhibiting

• Supervise NCCN print distribution center and manage online catalog and ordering database to track all print distributions for Pocket Guidelines and NCCN Guidelines for Patients

• Work with Business Development for all marketing needs, including NCCN Academy and other programs

• Work with Global Team for all marketing needs, including translations, adaptations, events, and other activities

• Support NCCN Foundation marketing activities and advertising 

• Ensure the consistent use of the NCCN logo, NCCN graphic standards, and Written Identity Guidelines across all materials

• Draft, route, and approve promotional copy for e-mails, ads, and other marketing collateral

• Liaison with NCCN staff to acquire clinical content for marketing materials

• Manage outside vendors and publishers, according to project timelines and budgets 

• Secure external advertising and determine best performing ad placements (by program and/or audience) to measure marketing ROI

• Work on-site at NCCN Annual Conference, NCCN Hematologic Malignancies Congress, and other external meetings as needed to promote NCCN materials and programs

• Manage marketing calendars, internal tracking documents, and job requests across departments to meet project deadlines and organizational goals

• Manage other program promotions and perform other related duties as assigned

EDUCATION/RELATED EXPERIENCE:

• BA/BS/BBA in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent experience

• 5 years of marketing and communications experience, preferably in health care

• Familiarity with oncology preferred

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Strong proofreading skills and attention to detail

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to synthesize complicated clinical information in order to communicate (both in writing and speech) with a variety of audiences

• Ability to manage multiple projects independently

• Excellent interpersonal skills

• Organizational ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong in all Microsoft Office programs

• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite software preferred

• Familiar with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other digital marketing technology
