Nashua Center of Nashua, NH is looking to hire Full time, part time and per diem Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support individuals with developmental disabilities and acquired brain disorders to lead self-directed and meaningful lives in our HAMPSTEAD,NH group home. This Direct Support Professional (DSP) position earns $17/hour weekdays. We also offer a shift differential of $1.00/hour for any work from Friday at 3:00 PM to Sunday at 11:59 PM and double-time on 10 major holidays worked as well as a .45 mileage reimbursement. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL (DSP)
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) / In-Home Caregiver, you support individuals with developmental disabilities and acquired brain disorders to achieve their goals, explore their interests, and live meaningful lives as independently as possible. You provide this support in a 3-person residential home. Your support is needed in many areas of daily living including medication administration, bathing, hygiene, errands, meal preparation, eating, transportation (wheelchair van), housekeeping, recreation, and leisure activities. You also help them celebrate achievements and provide comfort during difficult times.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Driver's license
- Insured car
- Clean criminal record
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel including internal and external
- Ability to lift 30 lbs.
- Desire to relate to people with disabilities

AVAILABLE FLEXIBLE WORK SCHEDULES
- 1st shift: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM seeking Part time (one shift available on Tuesday) or per diem staff.
- 2nd shifts: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM- seeking Part Time (one shift available on Saturday) and per diem staff- Monday-Sunday. Fri/Sat/Sun- Extra paid at $18/hr.
- OVERNIGHTS Flexible schedule, Full time/part time/per diem 11:00 pm - 9 AM- Saturday, Sunday, Monday Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights *sleep shift 12am - 6am paid at $15/hr, $16/hr. for Friday night, and Saturday night.
