NASDAQ is Hiring a Director, Sales Partnership Development Near New York, NY

Nasdaq is seeking a talented and motivated Director of Partnership Development to join our dynamic, and growing, Brand Studio team. This role will be responsible for identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships that drive revenue and enhance Nasdaq's brand presence globally.
To drive those conversations this individual will be developing and pitching custom partnership opportunities that meet brand objectives and deliver results for prospective and existing partners. As this team evolves this role will also be responsible for leading a team of junior, and third party, sellers through our go-to-market process, across the global landscapes from initial pitch to deal closure. This role will liaise heavily with the Brand Studio Creative and Audience Engagement counterparts to develop new offerings, stay ahead of industry trends and assess long-term revenue growth opportunities.
Please note this role will be hybrid, based out of our NYC office. This position will be eligible for commission.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify and Cultivate Partnerships: Proactively identify potential partnership opportunities aligned with Nasdaq's strategic objectives driving pipeline and sales growth. Cultivate long-term relationships with key stakeholders to explore mutually beneficial partnership opportunities.
  • Manage sales activities, pipelines, and client interactions to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Develop: first to market partner opportunities and innovative solutions in collaboration with our Brand Studio creative team
  • Drive Growth: Lead conversations with potential partners to establish mutually beneficial terms and agreements. Ability to clearly articulate the value of the Nasdaq brand and outline the value of collaboration.
  • Strategic Planning and Proposal Development: Advise on and execute strategic plans for new partnership activations, ensuring alignment with Nasdaq's business goals and objectives. Continuously assess market trends and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with partners to drive collaboration and achieve shared objectives.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure successful execution of partnership initiatives and create value across the Nasdaq org.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of partnership initiatives. Oversee individual partnership strategy, and performance providing regular updates and insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience in partnership development, business development, or strategic alliances, preferably in the financial services or technology industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets and drive revenue growth
  • Ability to work through ambiguity and proactively solve problems as they arise
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a strong desire to continuously evolve and improve
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing partnership deals
  • Strong understanding of the partner landscape, including partner lifecycle management and partner enablement.
  • Polished presentation skills and ability to speak to an executive audience
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, presenting complex concepts in an articulate, easily digestible, and persuasive manner
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify actionable insights
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strategic thinker and self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Passionate about building relationships and driving partner success

The base pay range for this role is $127,400 - $212,300. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
