Nao Medical is experiencing significant growth and expansion and is seeking a Medical Director(M.D./D.O. only) to direct the clinical delivery and coordinate the activities of physicians, advanced practice clinician, clinical staff, and clinical operations. We are seeking someone credible, honest and authentic who is a strong collaborator and works to empower others.

The main responsibilities of the Medical Director will include: 

• Holds the senior medical administrative position in our medical group practice
• Responsible for a number of activities related to the delivery of medical care and clinical services such as cost management, utilization review, quality assurance, infection control and medical protocol development
• Oversees the activities of the clinical staff, including the recruiting and credentialing processes, training, ongoing education and performance management.
• Reports to the CEO of the organization on the status of our clinical delivery.
• Monitor the quality and appropriateness of medical care.
• Provide guidance and leadership for performance guidelines
• Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practice.
• Manage strategic development
• Oversee clinical peer review
• Oversee documentation and care planning
• Manage provider relations and/or representation
• Handle clinical patient complaints
• Address emergency issues
• Support provider education by means of regular meetings etc.
• Manage community relations
• Handle provider behavior and impairment issues
