NANOTRONICS IMAGING INC is Hiring a Product Marketing Manager Near Brooklyn, NY

Description

Product Line:  All Nanotronics Products

Reports To: Chief Revenue Officer

Location: Onsite in the Brooklyn office; see “Why We Work in the Office” below; some travel required to trade shows, including international travel; Passport required

FLSA Status: Exempt

The Nanotronics Product Marketing Manager is a smart, passionate and upwardly mobile team member who will support the development of the world’s most integrated manufacturing platform. This position will be responsible for developing and directing all the marketing activities of Nanotronics’ products, building a marketing team, and synthesizing market, product, and competitive inputs into driving the highest possible revenue for the business. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, who works well within a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • College degree or work experience equivalent, preferably in Marketing, Advertising, IT, Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, Psychology or any other related field 
  • At least 5 years serving in a high-ranking position in a product marketing epartment (e.g., as a Senior Product Marketing Manager or Head of Product Marketing)
  • B2B focused experience a plus
  • Work expertise in marketing, dealing specifically with product positioning, pricing, and launches
  • Vast experience in the creation and execution of highly detailed go-to market product plans 
  • Knowledge of selling products to large companies preferred

  • Intimate understanding of the nuances of product markets and customer personas
  • Ability to deliver business results in terms of sales
  • Highly capable of reviewing, refining, and making recommendations based on analyses
  • Passion for products analysis, competitive analysis, and market dynamics
  • Strong ability to synthesize market data and provide solutions on short notice or constrained deadlines
  • Craft product messaging that resonates and connects with the diverse demographics of customers and stakeholders
  • Readiness to build out, manage, and lead a product marketing team
  • Seasoned business judgment
  • Proven ability to launch a product and lead it to commercial success
  • Excellent verbal and written communication ability to make complex material accessible to technical teams, customers and all internal and external stakeholders
  • Engaging reporting and presenting skills
  • Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Salesforce
  • Excellent creative skills to facilitate product differentiation
  • Decisive, iterative and agile, in order to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced working environment
  • Proactive and disciplined in follow-through with set priorities and programs
  • Calm and composed in uncertain and strenuous situations

Responsibilities

  • Unify our messaging across all channels of communication: website, printed collateral, newsletters, trade shows, press releases, etc.
  • Build out, manage, and lead a unified team of product marketing personnel with people-focused enthusiasm and empathy, thus facilitating achievement of individual and team goals
  • Identify and recommend conference and trade shows not on our current calendar
  • Complete an ROI report each year as to the relative effectiveness of trade show / conference attendance
  • Identify speaking or paper presentation opportunities at conferences, work with engineering team to identify the participants, assist them in coordinating their attendance
  • Evaluate current website, keep it updated and recommend improvements
  • Build library of sales and marketing collateral for use across the organization
  • Create and publish regularly published newsletters for: nSpec users and prospects, sales agents
  • Conduct Salesforce marketing campaigns
  • Serve as a release notes evangelist
  • Work with apps team to develop training materials; for sales and service
  • Understand customers’ needs and behaviors
  • Differentiate products by ensuring they always stay in line with customer needs and market trends
  • Perform product pricing, strategy and analysis, packaging, and positioning to target customers, sales messaging development, competitive analysis, and product differentiation
  • Develop product messaging that fits customers’ current mindset and maximizes the strengths of every marketing and communication channel in the process in order to raise product awareness in the market
  • Oversee product launches with the Chief Marketing & Communications Officer and Chief Revenue Officer
  • Ensure successful and integrated product launch for products, new product features, and product solutions
  • Ensure post-launch that product constantly grows in the market, continually moving from awareness to adoption in new market segments
  • Work with Engineering, R&D, and Sales teams to formulate optimal pricing strategies, models, product education approaches, product solution creation, and to execute competitive counter-tactics to achieve products’ market share targets
  • Gain product feedback and better understand of market trends and competitive factors
  • Prepare final reports, analyses, and findings and present to Chief Revenue Officer, critical stakeholders, and external partners
