A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A LAUNDRY WORKER

As a Laundry Worker, you have the important job of keeping our assisted living residents well-supplied with clean linens! Running the commercial facility, you sort all dirty linen as it comes to you. You load the machines, select the appropriate cycles, do the folding, and then...repeat! Your duties are repetitive, and you love getting into the groove each day - it makes the time fly. Providing this cleaning service keeps the entire assisted living housekeeping team running smoothly - and that makes you feel good!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A LAUNDRY WORKER

Are you organized with an eye for details? Can you manage your time and tasks efficiently? Are you a self-starter who can work independently? If yes, you might just be perfect for this position!

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• At least 6 months of experience that demonstrates a working knowledge of cleaning equipment and general cleaning processes.
• The ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, callouts, etc.
• Must be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement between NMS and Laborers' Local 942 and membership in the union, including the deduction of union dues, is a required term of employment.
