ABOUT THIS JOB:

Our Business Development Intern will act under the supervision of our Chief Operations Officer to identify and create vendor relationships. You will enjoy the excitement of a growing established industry leader, and achieve satisfaction by being able to immediately contribute to the success of the team while gaining valuable domestic and international product experience.

Part-time: 20 hours a week

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify production capability of current location
• Search for potential partners in areas of business expansion
• Work to develop and implement a functional business model
• Create and maintain relationships with vendors (Foreign and domestic).
• Catalog information through internal system on pricing and quotes.
• Develop up-to-date profiles of vendors (foreign and domestic)
• Analyzes purchase history of goods and services.

BENEFITS AND COMPENSATION:

• $15.10 - $16.00 /hour, depending on experience
• Monthly company lunches

Requirements

 REQUIREMENTS:

• Pursuit of or interest in related field (Supply Chain, Business, etc)
• Ability to work with people in a courteous and professional manner.
• Strong work ethic and an ability to pick up processes and new tasks quickly.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with team members at all levels.
• Must be able to work in a standing position for up to 2 hours a day.
• Must be able to work in a sitting position for up to 5 hours a day
• Must be able to follow instructions, both written and verbal.
• Great attention to detail, even with repetitive processes.
• Must be able to work under deadlines and quotas.
• High level of personal integrity and reliability.
• Ability to use use computers efficiently
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
