Position Purpose

This position will be a specific point for end user calls for assistance. The Help Desk will maintain logs of all calls and ensure all calls are handled in a timely manner.

Position Duties- (not all inclusive)

• Resolve problems with the use of personal computers.
• Install software on personal computers.
• Teach users how to use their personal computers more effectively.
• Assists the operation staff in resolving printer, CRT, and personal computer use of the MS4 system.
• Performs call logging and telephone support.
• Performs PC setup, replacements, and upgrades.
• Performs software updates and upgrades.
• Performs hardware and software troubleshooting and repair.

Requirements

•  Ability to Read, Write, and Communicate Effectively in English required.
•  Must be proficient in Windows required.
•  Working experience/knowledge of PC hardware required.
•  Ability to work with end users in a professional and courteous manner required.
•  Any software, hardware, or networking certifications a plus.
