Position Overview / Role

Responsible for day to day customer relations.

Essential Job Functions / Duty

• Receives and processes customer orders and quotation requests by mail, phone, fax, or email. Confirms customer order in the same manner. 
• Responsible for all communication to customer and Nachi personnel regarding any delays in supporting the customer requirements per any and all accepted Purchase orders or contracts at the time of order entry.

Requirements

Verifies that customer requirements are adequately defined and documented. If orders are received verbally, the Customer Service Representative is responsible to assure the order is understood and correct.

• Compares contract and quote requirements with the received purchase order. Any differences shall be brought to the attention of the Customer Service Team Leader, Assistant Operations Manager, and Sales Representatives for resolution.
• Review the ability of Nachi America to fulfill the customer requirements and notify the customer of any issue in fulfilling any, or all, of the requirements at the time of order entry. 
• Review stock and advise of any Inventory reorder requests.
• Quote customers via email and phone.
• Conflict resolution.
• Print, post and send invoices each day.
• File daily shipping paperwork.
• Generate open order reports including stock status for customers.
• Assist salesman with customer updates and stock information.
• Communicate with warehouse team members regarding customer order changes.
