People and businesses are in need of a solution to bridge the divide between physical and digital reality. Companies and their customers are struggling to align the experiences of in-person, hybrid, and remote interactions. Mytaverse enables its customers to deploy digital twins of their products in their own branded and photo-realistic 3D settings such as in showrooms or innovation labs. Our technology is also being used for meetings, conferences, exhibitions and for the training of employees through job simulations. Really, we are only limited by one’s imagination.

We are looking for an Infrastructure Team Lead to contribute to the growth of our company. This is an opportunity to lead our cloud-native infrastructure efforts and work with cutting-edge gaming technology.

Core Responsibilities:

• Leads the development of the Infrastructure team, responsible for managing AWS infrastructure, automating manual processes, and improving developer productivity.
• Builds and sets up new development tools and infrastructure.
• Automates manual build processes through developing and improving build pipelines.
• Works on ways to automate and improve development and release processes.
• Designs and builds tools and frameworks to automate testing, deployment, management and monitoring of the company’s products.
• Performs code reviews to ensure high-quality standards are consistently met across the team.
• Ensures that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
• Self-documents development processes, conducts peer reviews, and provides actionable feedback.
• Involved in project management decisions and collaborates with project managers, other team leads, and the CTO to plan out projects.
• Supports interdepartmental teams to complete assigned projects on time, to specifications, and with efficiency.
• Develops software to integrate with internal back-end systems.
• Performs root cause analysis for production errors, and investigates and resolves technical issues.
• Designs procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints. 
• Addresses questions and/or concerns throughout the project.

• Collaborates across time zones via Slack, GitHub comments, Jira, documents, and video calls.

• Understands the needs of stakeholders and conveys this to the rest of the Infrastructure team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least five years of relevant experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
• Good knowledge of C , Java, Python, Go or similar.
• Proficient with git and git workflows.
• Demonstrated experience with databases and SQL.
• Proficiency in Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Experience in observability approaches and tools.
• Background working with cloud-native applications and commercial cloud technology (AWS, preferred)
• Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
• Ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed and begin proposing improvements.
• Problem-solving attitude.
• Collaborative team spirit.

Additional Desired Skills/Traits:

• Experience with gaming infrastructure (e.g., AWS GameLift), preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
