Power-Bi Developer- Contract-to-Hire
-100% remote.
This requisition is looking for a contract-to-hire resource, resource must be looking for a full-time opportunity with the client after shorter stint as a contractor resource.
Responsibilities Include:
•Effectively visualize data in reporting applications (Power BI, QlikView, RapidMiner) to provide business value and answer business questions
•Design and develop reporting application scripts that import data from data marts or transactional systems and unit test the data extractions to verify they meet customer requirements
•Understand and promote use of tools and applications supported by the Analytics Team. ◦Work with Business developers to enable promote Power BI Governance and self-service analytics.
•Gather the requirements for new reporting projects and provide development estimates
◦Responsibilities include scoping and planning, budget management, status reporting, and coordination of activities between IT teams, business teams and external teams.

◦Manage work assignments given to internal and external developers to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
•Create and execute comprehensive unit and integration test plans.
•Investigate and resolve problems with reporting applications in a production support environment including responding to problem tickets 24/7.
•Adhere to IT Sarbanes-Oxley (SOx) Controls and CIP regulations.
