About the Job

MyFitPod is hiring aBusiness Development Specialist! TheBusiness Development Specialistwill set up customers (PodPros) for immediate success by nurturing them as they launch, grow, and elevate their business using our omnichannel platform and the MyFitPod Academy.A “PodPro” is an independent fitness or wellness professional delivering any combination of in-real-life, livestreaming, and video on demand using the MyFitPod platform.As aBusiness Development Specialist, you will educate PodPros, help solve technical problems, and directly take ownership of PodPro acquisition & retention within a defined area or region.

The ideal candidate is high energy, experienced with web-based technologies (i.e. Zoom, Livestreaming, Webinar Delivery, etc.), passionate about helping and inspiring customers, and excels at communication via phone, email, and video conferencing. Successful candidates will have the ability to quickly learn new technologies and communicate those concepts to customers with varying degrees of technical expertise. Additionally, strong competency with consultative selling is essential for this role. As a Business Development Specialist, you will perform outreach to prospective customers and show them how using our platform best aligns with their business goals and strategic objectives. Therefore, a collaborative approach is key as this role is expected to contribute ideas and recommend tactical improvements to the PodPros who are launching, growing, or elevating their business with MyFitPod.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Become a MyFitPod and MyFitPod Academy product expert
  • Provide detailed account walkthroughs and assist many new PodPros with implementation
    • Clearly communicate account setup requirements and expectations with customers and key MyFitPod stakeholders
    • Educate customers on MyFitPod’s toolkit, capabilities, and best practices to simplify adoption and align expectations
    • Record customer implementation needs, requests, and questions in HubSpot and communicate to key MyFitPod stakeholders
  • Ensure customers receive superior service
  • Collaborate with the PodPro success, finance, operations, and engineering teams
  • Leverage feedback for continuous improvement to the onboarding process
  • Develop a deep understanding of customers' business and operational objectives
  • Listen carefully to information provided by customers and ask clarifying questions to ensure proper use of MyFitPod’s tools
  • Establish strong relationships with new customers and deepen relationships with existing customers

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience with web technologies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Evidence of consistently excelling at what you do
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Must be highly motivated and have a positive attitude
