About the Role: Our Marketing team at MyEyeDr is looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to support the CRM team in coordinating, building, and deploying email, SMS, voice, and postal communications, and include a multitude of ever-changing tasks related to that functional area within the Marketing Department. Top candidates will exhibit organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and adaptability. The right individual for this role will be able to jump in and contribute quickly. This is a unique opportunity to join a new and growing marketing department, and a small but mighty CRM team made up of passionate email marketers! This role reports to our Senior CRM Manager and will be based in Vienna, VA or Remote. You Will: Build emails in Braze via a mix of editing existing HTML/CSS templates and using a drag & drop content builder Set up and deploy campaigns, which includes using filters to set the audience segments Be a champion for our creative review and QA processes Usher emails through reviews, collecting feedback and making changes as needed (includes submitting creative briefs, creating Trello cards, etc.) Own the email marketing content calendar Bring to the table ideas that address company goals and match our brand voice & tone Provide design and copy direction to the creative team in line with email best practices Obsess over details as required when sending emails on a large scale Keep a test mindset Document campaign changes Report on campaigns; analyze what’s working and what’s not Troubleshoot and reconcile issues reported to the CRM team You Will Bring: 3 years of experience building and sending emails Experience using filters to set target audiences Experience reporting on campaign success / understand acronyms like OR, CTR, CTOR, ROI Experience with an email service provider (Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Klaviyo, MailChimp, Hubspot, Iterable, etc.) Experience using Litmus, Email on Acid, or similar testing tool Familiarity with HTML/CSS email Basic understanding of Excel Understanding of email marketing best practices Extreme attention to detail Outstanding ability to follow through and drive projects to completion Outstanding time management Proactive and curious personality Experience with Braze, highly preferred Experience with Trello, preferred Experience working with an outside vendor or agency, preferred Experience with one of the following channels in addition to email: SMS, automated voice, direct mail, preferred Introduction to MyEyeDr. How do you see yourself today?
