Description
Myers Park Country Club is looking for someone that wants to join our collaborative F&B Management team. As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to help lead service staff in the A La Carte and Banquet Operation. Our Food and Beverage Supervisors work to ensure the highest level of member experience by assisting in all aspects of service and service staff, while exerting a positive attitude.
Requirements
- Greets members and guests by their name and assists with member and guest service. Anticipates members’ needs, responds promptly, touches tables, mitigates all complaints with help of management team, gauges pulse of the member experience in real time to deliver maximum member and guest satisfaction
- Guides service teams in dining rooms, F&B outlets, Halfway House, and banquet operations to assist with established programming currently in places
- Verifies proper room preparation, including set-up of tables, chairs, linens, table settings, glassware, etc.
- Supports FOH staff to ensure smooth operations and that duties are carried out in a professional and timely manner
- Develops supervisory and managerial skills as a leader, demonstrating ability to support and lead others
- Assists Food and Beverage management team in performing and maintaining inventory
- Contributes during weekly meetings by reviewing menu changes and addressing staff training and needs
- Communicates and teams well with other departments (i.e. Culinary, Golf, Tennis, etc.)
- Encourages staff in all technical and non-technical aspects of their role, including Club standards of quality and service
Qualifications/Skills:
- Two (2) years of progressive responsibility in food and beverage industry
- One (1) year of personnel management, preferably in a club/golf/hospitality/service industry
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 25 – 50 pounds
- Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
- Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
- Availability to work overtime as needed
