Description
POSITION SUMMARY: Great opportunity to work for a family owned dealership group. This person willhandle in-bound sales leads via dealership CRM, and other platforms. Develop business opportunities within the CRM by effective use and management of tool.
GENERAL PURPOSE: Facilitate the sales process of new and pre-owned vehicles through internet leads, call-in traffic and opportunities within the CRM. Manage BDC sales opportunities and the disbursement of sales leads to floor salespersons. Assist in the store use of the CRM and assist in the onboarding and training of new sales professionals.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS (COMPETENCIES):
· Good knowledge of and experience with internet, devices, mobile apps
· Proficient in multiple programs (Excel, MS, CRM tool)
· Answer inbound vehicle inquiry calls and route to appropriate department
· Successful past automotive sales experience, especially in lead handling and phone-ups.
· Strong attention to details
· Able to successfully function in fast-paced environment
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):
· Meet and maintain established sales goals
· Follow and lead a team through established sales techniques and processes
· Promptly respond to call-ins and internet car sales inquiries (within 1 hour of receipt or less)
· Facilitate car sales by collecting customer data, coordinate vehicle shipping
· Disburse sales leads to Floor Salespersons
· Experience in effectively negotiating vehicle pricing
· Ability to successfully explain vehicles’ features and options to customers
· Keep up to date with our vehicles’ features but also on our competitors’ products
· Attend all necessary / required trainings whether online or in person
· Maintain professional demeanor and exhibit positive communication skills (verbal and written) and strong work ethic
· Monitor online inventory with photos, descriptions, prices and specials and report issues to Marketing Director
· Acceptable attendance is mandatory
· Perform other tasks as assigned by Marketing Director and General Manager
· Must be able to perform all essential functions and physical demands within work environment, with or without reasonable accommodation
MARGINAL FUNCTIONS:
· Support Salespeople in facilitating sales by assisting in, emails, making calls, etc. if they are assisting customers on showroom floor. Review CRM usage and training.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
· May require sitting, standing, squatting or kneeling for extended periods of time
· Able to successfully operate / use phone for communicating
