Description

Position Summary

Museum of the Bible is looking for a detail oriented, highly responsible, self-motivated, problem-solving individual who will be responsible for the day-to-day systems administrative operations in a high paced Hybrid Azure/Active Directory environment. Primary duties will be to learn, admin and maintain the active directory (on-premise) domain and Office 365 cloud environments with an emphasis on office 365 based and related technologies. Knowledge of Manage Engine product suite is a plus. This position is expected to work on site at either Oklahoma City Corporate office or in Washington DC onsite at the Museum of the Bible.


Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be expected to work with other systems administrators to support, devise, document, deploy and admin the existing Office 365 and on-Premise Active Directory (AD) environments. The candidate will work and communicate with multiple teams (service desk, business services, development and business units) to resolve errors and analytical issues. Responsibilities include but not limited to, , AD accounts, Office 365 technologies, mailboxes, Teams, SharePoint, Phone services in o365, Licensing assignments, and other technologies relevant to support the Museum of the Bible’s infrastructure and operations, while maintaining best practices. The candidate is expected to have working knowledge of Windows Server OS’s, as well as an understanding of provisioning and ‘spinning up’ new servers where needed in a virtualized environment. Responsibilities include responding to service desk requests, maintenance and patching of servers and emergency issues with critical systems outside of business hours, on occasion, as well as other duties as assigned.

Education

• Minimum 2 years in a Systems Administrator role.


Qualifications

• Monitor and maintain daily systems/server administrative operations at the Museum of the Bible OKC office, in the AD/O365/Manage Engine suites. • Provide hands-on IT-related assistance where needed with the direction of senior administrators and management. • Provide escalation channels for IT Service desk where necessary via support tickets, phone, teams and necessary channels. • Rack and stack physical equipment, spin up new virtualized services, maintain O365 based phone services and be the hands and eyes for troubleshooting and escalation support. • Lead or support long-term IT project plans that directly impact critical operational components of the business. • Any other duties as assigned


Skills

Preferred Skills: • Experience developing, leading, implementing and deploying IT projects. • Practical knowledge of server administration to include O365, AD, Azure, Windows Server and Desktop services. • Extensive knowledge of Manage Engine product suite a plus. • Knowledge of backup solutions, VMWare (virtualization), networking
