We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier/Customer Service Associate. A fast growing independent pharmacy in Houma, LA and Morgan City, LA is seeking to hire Cashiers with experience working in retail pharmacy. Applicant munt have exceptional customer service skills. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and has strong communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide them with prompt and courteous service
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Process customer returns and exchanges
- Assist customers with locating products and answering inquiries
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Promote sales by offering additional products or services
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient store operations

Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or cash handling is preferred
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues diplomatically
- Basic sales skills to promote additional products or services
- Proficient in phone etiquette and able to communicate clearly and professionally
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with operating a cash register and handling cash transactions
- Organizational skills to maintain a clean and organized checkout area

Preferred Skills:
- Experience in wireless sales is a plus
