This position is essential to the smooth operation of the entire store. The Receiving Specialist is responsible to move all freight (unloading to stocking), with an emphasis on detail, quality control, and inventory management. This position requires the ability to be self-motivated and work independently.

As a Murdoch's Team Member in this role, you will...

  • Receive all merchandise within a specified timeframe.
  • Transfer merchandise between stores and distribution centers.
  • Handle product returns, recalls, and defectives.
  • Follow-up on receiving and notification of special orders.
  • Organize and maintain receiving area.
  • Other duties as needed

Requirements

Physical Demands:

  • Stand for long periods of time.
  • Heavy and repetitive lifting (no more than 50 lbs).

  • Close vision for PC work.
