Position Summary

This role will be responsible for supporting the establishment of talent development/training programs and systems to develop and enhance the skills, unique strengths and capabilities of employees in the company. This includes the design, delivery, evaluation, and continued improvement of training programs and educational programs for all departments in North America. The person must demonstrate passion and enthusiasm for maximizing and championing employee success and growth within a diverse culture.

Job Duties/Responsibilities

  • Develop and/or review various online and in-person training programs/tools and report on them for possible implementation.
  • Research best-in-class practices and leading technologies for delivery of training programs for continuous improvement.
  • Create materials and conduct training and other development programs using group discussions, lectures, videos, and other applicable formats.
  • Conduct administrative responsibilities related to training and development dissemination, including partnering with vendors and venues for facilitation of training activities.
  • Take an active role on the Learning Management System (LMS) HRIS team; responsible for administrative maintenance and content deployment in the LMS.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of long-term training initiatives, such as employee progression/career paths and succession planning in a way that energizes and motivates employees.

Job Duties/Responsibilities Cont.

  • Maintain records of training and development activities, attendance, results and assessments, including regulatory and compliance mandated trainings.
  • Evaluate program effectiveness through metrics and feedback mechanisms and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Design and facilitate programs that create an engaging and inclusive culture.
  • Assist in identifying methods to streamline training processes through automation and efficient use of HR systems to create space for innovation.
  • Encourage and motivate those around you with an encouraging attitude and positive energy.
  • Contribute to brand management and making the company shine and be a place of pride to work for our employees.
  • Perform other tasks and projects as assigned.
  • 10-25% travel within North America.

Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, or related field.
  • Two years or more related experience in training/talent development preferred.
  • Knowledge and experience with HRIS & LMS systems preferred; openness and curiosity to learn new technologies.
  • Represent HR with high level of professionalism, responsiveness, and emphasis on providing the highest quality of service to employees and clients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team across all levels in the organization.
  • Must have strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a collaborative spirit, positive mindset and openness to continuous improvement.
