Job summary

Do you love numbers, bookkeeping, and have a good knowledge in finance? Muraflex is looking for a full time, highly collaborative and motivated Accounts Receivable supervisor to join our accounting department.

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will be required to independently complete the usual tasks within the finance and accounting team in a dynamic and stimulating environment.

What you will be doing

• Validate the invoicing plan (validate production and shipping dates)
• Update the invoicing plan for new projects and Excel reports (invoicing plan, billing plan, etc)
• Follow-up on obtaining project streams
• Ensure PO’s are received for both base order and COPs– do follow-up if missing with both PM and customers
• Validate estimation calculations (between PO, budgets and different systems) and advise Revenues Manager of all discrepancies
• Validate budgets are entered for each project in SAP and on the company’s server
• Follow-up on obtaining the right orders and other documents from clients
• Invoice customer and send them invoices as per contract conditions in SAP
• Record all invoices on the server and in Excel reports
• Open new customers and update current ones
• Validate billing instructions for GC
• Validate payments as per check stubs and enter payments in SAP
• Verify discrepancies by and resolve clients’ billing issues
• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
• Do collection on a weekly basis
• Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
• Assure in obtaining all required signatures according to the documents
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Do you have what it takes?

• 2-3 years experience in this field and/or similar role
• Fully Bilingual
• Experience in construction is a plus
• DEP/DEC, vocational studies or other level of education in alignment
• Has great interpersonal and communicational skills
• Ability to problem solve and analyze information and plans
• Ability to adapt and learn quickly
• Experience with SAP software is a plus
• Good knowledge in Excel, Outlook MS Office
