We have a full spectrum of functional positions including IT, Accounting, Human Resources, Legal Support, and Marketing. JOB SUMMARY - Position can be located in Los Angeles or San Francisco The Marketing Project Manager will be the primary liaison with all marketing technology systems and processes, as well as creating and managing budgets and vendors. This position will manage the firm’s website and the repository of content used in external collateral material. The Marketing Project Manager will lead the creation and documentation of internal processes, including review for continuous improvement. Provide logistical support as needed for firm events. JOB FUNCTIONS Manage, organize, update, and maintain the firm’s marketing technology stack. Evaluate and manage relationships with marketing technology vendors. Proactively communicate project status updates regularly to appropriate stakeholders. Manage and update the firm’s website including annual website audit and refresh process in collaboration with Pitch Team members. Collaborate with/provide guidance to IT, ITSEC, our third party web developer, and other stakeholders as needed. Manage matters, documents, images, biographies, and other marketing content is current, leveraging the team’s content repositories and developing systems and/or processes to identify, update and retire content. Ensure content is readily accessible on internal sharing platforms and communicate processes to facilitate knowledge reuse and integrity. Liaise with IT and other stakeholders on product development, including the firm’s Microsoft Dynamics rollout to ensure marketing needs are addressed. Develop and manage budgets, product roadmaps, and features lists aimed at optimizing marketing operations and maximize ROI. Participate in marketing technology pilots and assessments. Continuously collect, manage, and disseminate feedback to advance marketing product development. Leverage best practices to lead the Marketing Team members to develop and institute workflows and processes to improve the utilization, efficiency, and effectiveness of marketing resources. Regularly capture feedback to support continuous improvement. Develop and produce regular, leadership-facing reports about firm financials and marketing activities. Develop relationships with Marketing Team members, Finance, the Library, and other stakeholders to leverage available reporting data. Partner with team members to support industry/practice groups in developing, implementing, and managing solutions to support business development initiatives. Liaise with/provide guidance to IT and other stakeholders as needed. Collaborate with Marketing Team members on logistical aspects of webinars and events. Ensure successful events by managing the firm’s Hospitality, CLE, AV, Graphics, and other administrative teams involved in planning and execution. Coordinate, administer, and manage client mailings, and related functions, including list management and submission forms. Oversee the Graphics Team and others in producing marketing and communications related deliverables. Perform other duties as assigned. Current project management certification is preferred, or 5 years managing medium to large scale projects in a similar role. Experience in taking products and technologies to market using agile, user-centered design, and lean methodologies (i.e. Six Sigma) is a plus. Ability to effectively delegate to vendors, other team members or individuals in other departments, and manage projects and processes. Expert knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Planner, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft PowerPoint. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively and professionally communicate with all levels of management, staff, and a variety of external entities including vendors and clients. Ability to develop and use large datasets and analyze data and furnish concise, detailed information in report format, written correspondence, e-mail or verbally. Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and composure at all times in challenging circumstances. Ability to understand business processes and their potential improvements via business systems solutions. Ability to manage multiple document edits from multiple contributors, sometimes contemporaneously. Ability to review final product for accuracy, neatness and thoroughness. Dependable team player with high energy, creativity and vision who works collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment. Ability to be available, as needed, for after-hours and weekends. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Writing, typing, reading, speaking, hearing, seeing, sitting, bending, reaching, lifting up to 25 lbs.
