JOB SUMMARY: Hybrid Flexible The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in providing operational support for the Human Resources Department. The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for tasks such as invoicing, processing job and employee changes, employment verification, program scheduling and other administrative tasks in support of department service delivery and initiative completion. The Human Resources Coordinator is a key member of the Human Resources team and often interacts with employees, managers and attorneys. The Human Resources Coordinator has excellent customer service skills and is highly accurate, paying close attention to detail. The Human Resources Coordinator works closely with other members of the Human Resources team on a daily basis. JOB FUNCTIONS Enters, maintains and updates employee data and processes transactions in the HRIS and other systems as appropriate. Runs and provides reports as requested. Writes and executes employment letters in support of job changes and requests. Coordinates activities with other departments. Executes employee health and safety processes, for example, COVID-19 response protocols. Administers compliance-related items, such as background checks, training programs, pre-employment screening, unemployment claims, etc. Supports process and system testing. Administers and schedules programs and activities sponsored by the Human Resources Department. This could include parking administration, transportation program administration, training administration, event scheduling, event preparation, new hire orientation, departures, etc. Assists with responding to client, regulatory and internal requests for information. Responsible for expense reporting and invoice submissions and tracking for the Human Resources Department. Ensures that department information, intranet site and communications are up to date and accurate. Develops and delivers department-related communications. Special projects and other duties as assigned. TOOLS Computer Microsoft Office applications, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint HRIS - Workday LMS Printer, Fax, Scanner, Photocopier, Shredder MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma required. Minimum 2 years work experience in a similar role. Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word). Fluency with HRIS systems; Workday preferred. Familiarity with Human Resources regulations and relevant laws. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively to achieve team goals. Ability to work in fast-paced, demanding environment. Ability to interact with all levels of the organization professionally and confidently. Ability to organize as well as produce accurate work while meeting time-sensitive deadlines. Advanced communication skills. Ability to handle and maintain confidential information. Expert ability to provide the highest level customer service. Ability to interpret and audit data and reports. Ability to learn and adapt to changing processes, environments and circumstances. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Writing, typing, reading, speaking, hearing, seeing, sitting, bending, reaching, lifting up to 25 lbs.
