We are looking for an Electrical Assembler I that will perform electrical assembly & disassembly on electronic components and subassemblies of MQ power generators, by using drawings, schematics and a variety of hand and power tools. Responsibilities includes but not limited to; Terminate to components, install and wire up relays, CT’s, controllers, circuit breakers, cam-loks, etc.
• Read work orders, wiring diagrams and specifications to determine required assembly methods• Analyze schematics and drawings of electrical systems to determine the efficiency and safety of the installation• Participate in meetings, training, and seminars as assigned for the purpose of conveying and gathering information required to perform job function • Coordinate with others to complete projects• Request equipment and/or supplies to maintain inventory and ensure availability of the items required to complete assigned jobs • Route wires, assemble, and install electrical and electronic components onto generator assembly, such as reconnection board, terminal blocks, controls, buss panels, engine DC, Generator AC , junction terminal boxes, and main control switch panels• Alters or Manufactures custom wiring harnesses to fit equipment• Cut wire and/or cable to specified lengths• Crimp terminal and lugs to wire ends by hand or machine crimping devices• Route, comb, twist, tie wraps, and attach wire to terminal points, according to layout, using soldering gun and hand tools• Connect wiring to accessories, such as relays, circuit breakers, plugs, switches, solenoids, circuit breakers, buss panels and reconnection boards• Conduct functional and continuity tests of electrical assemblies, components, wire harness and plugs, using ohmmeter, test lights, and other electrical testing instruments• Follow all safety procedures in handling equipment and machines.• Perform other duties as assigned

The usual and customary methods of performing the job functions require the following physical demands. Occasional heavy lifting 25- 50 pounds, Carrying, pushing and or pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling. Generally the job requires 10% sitting 35% walking and 55% standing.
