Overview

Prepare and provide accurate, cost effective structural design support estimates, subject to review by a registered Professional Engineer (PE), for prefabricated metal building systems. Provide technical support to employees and customers regarding design, cost, and installation.

Responsibilities

• Provide designs that meet the life safety requirements of our profession with minimal errors.
• Be on task and perform the work you are scheduled to perform.
• Provide internal/external customer service in a timely and professional manner.
• Develop advanced level skills to perform work with minimal errors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required.
• Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience in metal building design and detailing preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with and understanding of engineering design software and building design methodology.
• Ability to apply complex math skills such as algebra, geometry and trigonometry is required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Hire in salary of $56,650 – $61,650 depending on qualifications.
