Overview
The Technical Support Specialist position's role is to support and maintain MTSolution's Group client's computer systems, point of sale platforms, desktops, and peripherals. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance. The person will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end-user training and assistance where required. We love to construct comfortable schedules that match the skill-set of those professionals we hire.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Installs, configures and upgrades operating systems and software.
  • Installs, assembles, and configures computers, monitors, and peripherals such as printers, scanners and related hardware.
  • Troubleshoots problems with computer systems, including troubleshooting hardware and software, e-mail, network and
  • peripheral equipment problems; makes repairs and corrections where required.
  • Acts as a technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with equipment and data.
  • Makes hardware, and software purchase recommendations including helping users assess needs and providing justification
  • for equipment and services.
  • Logging and processing support calls or e-mails into an internal ticketing system.
  • Setting up accounts for staff, ensuring that they know how to log in.
  • Investigating, diagnosing and solving computer software and hardware faults
  • Repairing equipment and replacing parts
  • Obtaining replacement or specialist components, fixtures or fittings
  • Checking Computer Equipment for Electrical Safety
  • Working on Network & Hardware inventory projects.

Requirements
Familiar with Mac (iOS/MacOSX) and Windows Operating Systems.
Basic understanding of Networking.
Basic understanding of Server Active Directory.
Entry level Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) experience required.
Ability to stand for 8-hour shifts.
Ability to bend, stoop and reach.
Must be able to lift, carry, and push and pull objects up to 50 lbs.
Solid independent and collaborative work ethics.
Multi-tasking capabilities (e.g. handle large volumes of network and computer problems).
Responsible, dependable and punctual.
Professionalism in attitude and dress.
Must be able to work Flexible Hours and Weekends.
Valid State of Nevada Driver’s License, with a good standing record.
Be able to have reliable transportation to the client's site.
Degree in electronics and Computer Science repair preferred.
Certificate of completion for Electronics, Computer Repair, or Network Courses.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
