The Clinical Liaison plays a critical role with the direct oversight of the utilization review team as well as reporting of Utilization Management activities. The Clinical Liaison will also be responsible for providing outreach and education to diverse audiences through presentations, trainings, one-on-one meetings, networking, events, e-activity and other outreach strategies. Responsibilities: Mentor, develop and oversee the Utilization Review team Ensure utilization team are reviewing medical justification and Common Medical Marketing Area forms accurately and timely Day to day oversight, monitoring, and analysis of all activities related to Utilization Management activities to ensure business outcomes and goals are defined and met Ensure all program activities are being performed accurately and consistently to ensure the program’s ongoing contractual and institutional compliance Manage budget for Utilization Management Adhere to MTM policies and procedures and identified quality and compliance standards Conduct presentations for internal and external stakeholders both in person or via webinar Lead outreach projects and initiatives Provide onboarding and continual education to facilities and stakeholders Work with facilities and stakeholders to resolve issues of concern Act as an expert resource and spokesperson for MTM Facilitate communication, as well as meetings, between internal and external stakeholders Provide regular follow-up with outreach audiences to ensure they are equipped and trained on MTM processes Provide necessary data and information to MTM staff assisting in the continuous monitoring and coordination of Utilization Management processes Develop, implement, review and revise policies and procedures Other duties as assigned All you need is... Bachelor’s Degree in nursing Registered professional Nurse (RN) or Nurse Practitioner Licensed, registered Nurse in good standing in New York State Previous experience working with Medicaid and or State programs Experience in outreach is a distinct advantage Advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Power Point, Database Even better if you have...
