MTH Pumps of Plano, IL is seeking to hire a full-time CNC Machinist- Second Shift to utilize state of the art CNC equipment to machine high-quality pump parts. This CNC machining position offers a competitive wage of $25 per hour, $1 increase after 90 days, tuition reimbursement, and we offer medical and dental insurance. Our CNC Machinists work Monday-Thursday, 3pm - 11:30pm & Friday 1 pm - 9:30pm.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A CNC MACHINIST

As a CNC Machinist, you arrive ready to ensure that our machined parts are made accurately and carefully on multiple machines. Your role in the manufacturing process begins when you calculate and set controls to regulate machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth, and angle of cut. You load and unload machines. Operating a 5-axis CNC machine, you produce pump parts to blueprint specifications. You will troubleshoot malfunctions with the machines and make required quality measurements to complete documentation paperwork.

You strive to make the highest-quality parts at the lowest cost by using the most efficient and cost-effective techniques available. To do this, you measure produced parts to ensure quality and standardization. You also maintain the production schedule in order to meet customer delivery dates. Annually, you have the opportunity to participate in training classes to maintain up-to-date knowledge of control and machine operations. You enjoy CNC machining and feel productive as you complete an important role in the manufacturing process.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3 - 5 years of CNC machining experience or related education.
• Ability to read blueprints and inspection gauges
• Knowledge of setup CNC mills and lathes, G and M codes
• Ability to program, edit and troubleshoot programs, as needed.
• Complete machine setups independently.

Multi-axis programming experience or experience with Mazak integrex machine tools is preferred. Do you have a positive attitude and the drive to be successful in a team-driven environment?
