The Preventive Maintenance (PM) Technician is responsible for performing ongoing maintenance of tool kits and equipment which are utilized in a Class 10 environment. The incumbent will exercise their electromechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and correct the root cause of equipment failures. The PM technician will work with internal customers to procure equipment for scheduled maintenance. The PM technician will need to use their organizational skills to determine the best way to schedule and perform preventive maintenance in a dynamic environment. The PM technician must understand the priorities of the business units and address equipment repairs in the order of most to least critical. The incumbent will utilize their attention to detail to document all equipment maintenance as per our Operational Procedures, Work Instructions, and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). In addition, the incumbent is required to work with other team members to gather data for maintaining an accurate inventory of spare parts.
Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High School Diploma
Experience:
2 years in troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
Specific Licenses and/or Certifications:
N/A
Specialized Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities*:
Able to read blueprints and use measurement devices ( micrometer, calipers, comparator) Familiar with Microsoft EXCEL and Word
Work Environment:
Maintenance Shop and ISO Class 10 Cleanroom
Physical Demands:
Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Technical training in electrical, mechanical, CNC, or similar.
2 year degree.
Experience:
2 years of experience with machine shop equipment
Experience working in a GMP environment.
Specific Licenses and/or Certifications:
N/A
Specialized Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
Working knowledge of electricity and electronics.
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, EXCEL, and Word
