Job Description: The Institutional Client Services (ICS) team delivers and supports all the technology used in Global Capital Markets, Retirement & Institutional Client Services and M&T Insurance Agency. As part of the ICS team, the AVP, Software Engineer III completes and oversees the most complex systems analysis, design and development efforts. Play a key role as a leader and individual contributor on complex projects. Provide the highest level analytical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing new uses of information technologies to assist the client areas and Bank in meeting their short-term business goals and long-term strategic objectives. Designs and specifies information systems solutions; Provides highest level technical direction in the development of new or existing applications; Solves basic to complex problems and enhancements; Principal application designer for critical components and major modifications; Evaluates highly complex interrelationships and effects among programs, interfacing applications and platforms; Leads multiple high-level projects involving complex systems analysis, design and complete application development; Confers with Development, Operations, and Technology staff regarding systems development from technical analysis to user acceptance testing; Prepares and reviews test data; Executes detailed test plans; Completes any required debugging; Prepares charts and tables to assist in analyzing problems; Prepares and reviews assessments for required tasks; Recommends new technology, policies, and procedures to improve deficiencies; Leads and participates in technical evaluations of vendor software; Assists in developing expense and capital budgets; Utilizes the following Tech Stacks: C#, ASP.net, .net, CORE, MVC; SQL Server, Oracle, Front end development including Angular 8, REST, JSON, SOAP, and XML; GIT; Agile technologies including CI/CD, Azure DevOps, Reporting with Tableau or SSRS. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; plus 6 years of experience in the following: systems analysis and application development; Middle Tier development including C#, ASP.net, .net, CORE, and MVC; SQL Server, Oracle, Front end development including Angular 8 or higher, REST, JSON, SOAP, and XML; GIT; Agile technologies including CI/CD, Azure DevOps or Gitlab; TFS; Reporting with Tableau, SSRS, or PowerBI.
